Enerpeels and Tebiskin

As part of Cotswold Face Aesthetics Clinic accreditation with the Acne and Rosacea Association under guidance from Professor Chu ( previous Head of Dermatology at Hammersmith Hospital, London ). I have introduced his endorsed range of clinically proven products ( Tebiskin Range and Synchrorose ) to complement the clinical facial peels for skin diseases.

TREATMENT DETAILS:

Enerpeel technology, made up of a patented carrier solution, restrict surface activity until the ingredients are absorbed and then released. The carrier solution increases absorption two to three times ( compared to standard equivalent chemical peels ), without excessive exfoliation and surface trauma.

They increase fibroblast cells that produce collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid resulting in brighter , fresher skin.

Enerpeel systems contain specific ingredient combinations delivering deep into the skin to target various skin conditions whilst surface redness, discomfort, flaking and peeling are reduced.

Ultimately the ENERPEEL system aims to correct many skin issues efficiently and far more effectively than standard peels by triggering gene expression of matrix remodelling components.

Used in conjunction with specific TEBISKIN products for increased efficiency:

  • Eneerpeel  SA. Salicylic Acids – Designed to break down oil and surface debris in Acneic skins, while also introducing the three key ingredients to control inflammation, kill bacteria, reduce oil production and normalise excess skin cell production.

  • Eneerpeel MA. Mandelic Acid – Designed for the management of Rosacea, thread veins, hyperpigmentation, hyper sensitive skin, broken capillaries and is ideal for peeling throughout the Summer months and for those with sensitive skin.

  • Eneerpeel PA. Pyruvic Acid – Controls oily skin, reduces pore size and can be used for anti-ageing, photo ageing, flabby skin and mild actinic keratosis. Can also be used on the chest and back.

  • Eneerpeel JR. Jessners Lactic Acid component for reducing non inflammatory pigmentation, oil control, moderate actinic keratosis, moderate to severe photo ageing and chromo ageing.

FAQ’s

WHAT FACIAL PEELS DO YOU OFFER?

The Tebiskin range of chemical medical peels contain acids to treat various conditions – please see the website page.

WILL THE TREATMENT BE PAINFUL?

Yvonne will be using an acid on your skin, but these specially formulated peels only cause slight stinging for 3 to 4 minutes.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER A CHEMICAL PEEL ?

Your skin may feel tight and dry and look slightly flushed.

You may experience some mild flaking around day 3, this is to be expected and may last for one or two days. You may not experience any flaking or peeling, but this does not mean the peel has not worked.

You will be advised to stop using any exfoliant or Retinol for 7 days, and to avoid strenuous physical activity until the day after treatment.

Yvonne recommends wearing an SPF 50 ideally every day in the summer, and SPF30 in the winter.

Some possible side-effects are redness, itchiness, dryness, tenderness or swelling but these are only temporary.

HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO HAVE A SKIN PEEL?

Depending on the reason for your chemical skin peel, Yvonne will discuss with you the ideal frequency to achieve the result you desire. Following that, topical products can be used with a maintenance peel every 6 to 12 months.

A number of factors determine how long the results will last, such as the type of peel used and if you have applied the recommended skin aftercare.
