What is preventative Botox

Anti-wrinkle injections relax or paralyse the facial muscles where they are injected.

But, do these injections work as a preventative measure?

There is no scientific evidence that Botox* works as a preventative measure.

People are now starting Botox* injections in their early 20’s but visible lines and wrinkles tend to show up in the 30’s and maybe 40’s.

There is no reason to start Botox* injections unless there are visible lines to treat.

You really don’t need it until it is necessary ,and you start to see wrinkles appear.

Leaving it too late, can mean that the lines in a natural expression are present and indented in the skin and then Botox will not be able to eradicate the static lines. It works on the muscles creating the dynamic expression lines and with careful injection techniques the elevator and depressor muscles which work in conjunction with each other can also create a lift . i.e the eyebrows as well as relaxing and smoothing the skin.
