WHAT IS PROFHILO?
Profhilo is a combination of powerful Hyaluronic Acid components. It is a liquid moisturiser which feeds and nourishes the skin deep in the dermis. It does not produce excessive volume within the skin, which can be the case with conventional dermal fillers.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WITH PROFHILO?
The first course of Profhilo involves two injectable treatments four weeks apart. Patients will experience intense skin hydration. The skin glows, skin laxity reduces and elasticity is improved. Crepey skin diminishes and there is a noticeable improvement in skin texture.
As the density of the tissue increases some patients will notice a lifting effect.

WILL THE TREATMENT BE PAINFUL?
A topical anaesthetic cream is applied to the areas where the injections will be made. A mild stinging sensation will be felt during injection. Profhilo is injected just under the skin with very fine needles.
HOW LONG IS THE APPOINTMENT FOR PROFHILO?
The appointment time is 45 minutes.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER PROFHILO TREATMENT?
There is no downtime with Profhilo but Immediately following the treatment you will see raised bumps which will feel hard to touch. This is to be expected, and when you wake up the next morning these lumps will have vanished. For a few patients only, they may remain a day longer.
HOW LONG WILL THE BENEFITS LAST?
Results from Profhilo treatment can last between anything from six to twelve months depending on your original reaction and how you metabolise the product. To keep the skin in optimal condition Yvonne usually recommends that Profhilo should be repeated at six months. For patients with very lined skin, treatment every four months is beneficial.
